Our Diamonds
Éternel Diamonds
The Éternel Diamond™ growth process allows our diamonds to naturally appear colorless, DEF in color, and offer excellent clarity in the VS+ range. Superior product, coupled with diamond cutting taking place in state-of-the-art facilities, allows our diamonds to perform above all others.
All our diamonds + 1 carat are certified by GIA and laser-inscribed with a secret message and a certification number that makes the diamond uniquely yours.
Each diamond is grown via the CVD process. However, what makes our CVD process different is that our diamonds are Single Growth As Grown. This process mimics how a diamond grows in the earth, without any interruption.
Because there is no interruption, the product grows free of visible growth lines and the color is natural (no post growth treatment). This single growth process, combined with superior cutting, is why your Éternel Diamond®️ is unique and unparalleled.
Éternel Diamonds above one carat guarantees G+ color quality, VS2+ clarity quality, and their special way of being growth creates NO growth lines. But the most special quality of Eternel Diamonds is that we guarantee Original Ideal Cut. Which is a very complicated technique that sacrifices more diamond, but guarantees a symmetrical and geometrical masterpiece. And cutting a diamond this way takes 4 times longer than the average diamond.
Intense research is going on all over the world to continue improving this process, and the team at Éternel Diamond is part of that research community! Bringing beautiful diamonds to delighted owners is the ultimate goal of growing diamonds, and we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to participate in that. To date, very few lab-grown diamond producers can grow diamonds to the same size and quality that Éternel Diamond consistently produces let alone achieve our strict guidelines for our Original Ideal Cut.
(Diamonds under 1 carat are grown with the HPHT process and are held to different clarity and color standards)
How are they made?
There are two distinct manufacturing processes used to grow diamonds in a lab: HPHT and CVD.
HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) is the older of the two processes, around since the 1950s. In HPHT, a small amount of graphite is subjected to extreme temperatures and pressures, which replicates the extreme heat and pressure conditions deep inside the earth that cause diamonds to form.
The second and more recent method is termed CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition). This is a vacuum deposition method that is often used in the semiconductor industry to produce thin films. The diamond CVD technique was first investigated over 30 years ago, but it is only within the last decade that the technology had improved to the point where very high quality diamond can be formed.
In CVD, a thin slice of diamond – called a seed – is placed in a sealed chamber and heated to a very high temperature. After the chamber is heated, a carbon-rich gas mixture is introduced into the chamber, and those gases are ionized into plasma. The chemistry created in the plasma along with the high sample temperature results in growth of high-quality diamond.

Are lab-grown diamonds as strong as mined diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are identical to mined diamonds in in their chemical and material composition, which means that Lab-grown diamonds match mined diamonds in hardness, durability, and strength. This means lab-grown diamonds are one of the hardest materials on earth, along with their mined counterparts.

The Benefits of Lab Grown Diamonds
In the case of lab-grown diamonds, benefits are in the eye of the beholder.
One of the primary benefits of a lab-grown diamond is that you can get more – and more beautiful! – diamond for the money. Of course, another benefit of a lab-grown diamond is that it can give the wearer boasting rights. Lab-grown diamonds are a fantastic example of advancing technology and scientific ingenuity. If you’re into innovation, a lab-grown diamond is certainly symbolic of that.

How are lab-grown diamonds certified?
Just like mined diamonds, lab-grown diamonds are graded and certified. We grade our diamonds to the most prestigious and professional labs in the world: the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and the American Gem Society (AGS). Every diamond we sell comes with a certificate from a trusted lab.
Do lab-grown diamonds retain their value?
Lab-grown diamonds have seen fluctuations in their value since they entered the jewelry commercial industry. Initially, lab-grown diamonds held a higher value due to their novelty and the perception that they were a more sustainable and ethical alternative to natural diamonds. However, as the market for lab-grown diamonds has grown and supply has increased, their value has experienced a decline.
The decreasing value of lab-grown diamonds can be attributed to several factors. As more companies entered the market and production scaled up, the supply of lab-grown diamonds increased, leading to a greater availability of these stones. This increased supply, coupled with improved technology and production efficiency, resulted in a decline in prices.
However, it is important to note that not all lab-grown diamonds are equal. At Éternel Diamonds, we guarantee the highest quality and best lab-grown diamonds. Our diamonds are Original Ideal Cut, which represents less than 1% of all diamonds cut. This exceptional cut ensures exceptional brilliance, fire, and scintillation, enhancing their beauty and desirability.
Furthermore, our lab-grown diamonds are produced using state-of-the-art technology and adhere to the highest ethical standards. They are grown in North America, specifically in Texas, ensuring transparency and accountability in the production process. Unlike the majority of lab-grown diamonds created in places with limited regulations and ethical oversight like India or China, our diamonds are manufactured with the utmost care and consideration for sustainability and ethics.
By choosing our lab-grown diamonds, you can have confidence in owning a diamond of exceptional quality, while also supporting a more sustainable and ethical diamond industry. The unique combination of the Original Ideal Cut and our commitment to sustainability and ethics sets our lab-grown diamonds apart from the vast majority of lab-grown diamonds available on the market.
